📅2026 - Ongoing 🏫K-12 School Focus 🤖AI Ethics & Safety
Moving beyond commercial "black box" applications, this project utilizes a Design-Based Research (DBR) framework to co-design "CounselorBot-S," a chatbot explicitly aligned with American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Self-Management Skills.
Key Innovation: The "Community-in-the-Loop" model ensures school counselors and parents shape the ethical architecture of educational AI tools, rather than having technology imposed from the top down.
Expected Outcomes: A stakeholder-validated prototype, School AI Integration Toolkit, and evidence-based framework for evaluating school-based AI interventions.
